Our Founder: Gladys's Journey

In 2002, Gladys embarked on a journey from her home in Nigeria to the picturesque landscapes of Shropshire, England. Her love for authentic, made from scratch cooking accompanied her cross continent. In Nigeria, she had mastered the art of crafting meals from raw ingredients—no shortcuts, no additives. But England, with its rich multicultural culinary tapestry, filled her with new possibilities.

Gladys soon discovered that her passion for fresh, wholesome food could thrive in this diverse environment. She embraced the fusion of West African flavors with global ingredients, creating a harmonious blend that resonated with her soul. Her kitchen became a canvas where she experiment to create vibrant dishes inspired by local and global cultures near and far.
