Meet the Chef Behind The Heritage Table
Gladys Webster
Afro-British Modern Fusion Chef
The Heritage Table was created from Nigerian roots and shaped by life in Britain.
Growing up, food was always at the centre of family life. Nigerian cooking taught depth of flavour, patience, and the importance of gathering people generously around one table. Living and working in Britain introduced refinement, new techniques, and a contemporary approach to presentation.
The Heritage Table brings these worlds together.
West African warmth meets British elegance.
Bold spice meets balance.
Tradition meets modern expression.
After years of catering weddings and large celebrations, the vision evolved into something more intimate — a curated dining experience where guests slow down, connect, and experience food with story and intention.
Each dish reflects heritage, reimagined through a modern lens.
This is Afro-British modern fusion dining.
Rooted in culture.
Presented with refinement.
Shared with heart.

“Food is my language of welcome.”
